βMother dearest,β¨
Donβt you miss me?ββ¨
Grown-ass men
Who all want fixing.β¨β¨
But I wonβt.
β¨β¨I am maternal extortion.β¨
Iβm the womb,
Youβre my abortion.β¨β¨
Choke on your guilt, at least thatβs an action.
β¨From which I will never get satisfaction.β¨
The mother, the daughter, your personal savior;
Born to perform all emotional labor.β¨β¨
Wring me out,β¨
Bleed me dry.
Use me till I fucking die.β¨β¨
How do you like me now?
β¨I bet youβll love me now.β¨
How do you like me?

If there ever was a timely album to sum up the United States in 2020, this is it. Elements of black metal, hymnals, call-and-response, sampled news audio, and Manuel's amazing voice come together to form a beautifully tortured sound.
The term 'avant-garde' is rightfully earned with every moment of this EP. mistermunn

This album hits like a ton of bricks. I can't say how long it's been since a band reached me like this, but I can't get enough. The driving rhythm, the ghostly floating leads, the haunting and direct lyrics, the desperation in her voice... Powerful. Jaycee

This album is overwhelmingly good. I've been making music for long enough and listened to too much music to not be impressed easily. This album is goosebumps from beginning till end. Completely different realm of existence of good. minerva
