[Verse 1]
Hate, something, sometime, someway, something kicked on the front floor
Mine? Something, inside
I'll never ever follow
So give me some-thing that is for real
I'll never ever follow
Get your boogie on...
Get your boogie on...
Hate, something, someway, each day, feeling ripped off again, no
Why? This shit inside
Now everyone will follow
So give me no-thing, just feel
And now this shit will follow
[Chorus]
God paged me, you'll never see the light, who wants to see?
God told me, I've already got the life, oh I see
God paged me, you'll never see the light, who wants to see?
God told me, I've already got the life, oh I see
[Verse 2]
Each day I can feel it swallow, inside something took from me
I don't feel your deathly ways
Each day I feel so hollow, inside always beating me
You will never see, so come dance with me
I'm coming out of a decade long musical hiatus. The last punk band to really move me was from the Bay (American Steel), so it's no surprise that I returned there for inspiration. Can't Swim is absolutely worth a listen for fans of Lawrence Arms or Taking Back Sunday. I'm sure there are much better comparisons - if that's you thing - but as I said, I've been out of the game for a long time. Thank you to Can't Swim for inspiring me to play again. Dave Wreckoning
Amazing songs,KSE lyrics helps me a lot,i lost my father recently(2020).
The time where i was really close with him was in summer 2007 and i listened a lot to ADD Album at the time.
So hearing KSE always reminds me of him,r.i.p.
Jesse leach is an amazing vocalist and lyricist, howard too. love 'em both.
