Holding onto loved ones lost, we try to reach the surface. Knowing what's been lost is gone as we're drowning in the abyss. The darkest days will bring the rain. To exasperate the winds of change. We all carry anvils of strain tough to handle. The brightest days lie in the wake. If we can hold the barricades. They still linger inside, all of the friends they left behind. I wanna get through the landslide that's outside. It's hard enough buried face down in your hands. Can't relinquish myself to the high tide in hindsight. It's hard enough trying to be a better man. We all, we all know all good things must come to an end. It's in how we defend the time that we've been given. I wanna get through the landslide that's outside. It's hard enough buried face down in your hands. Can't relinquish myself to the high tide in hindsight. It's hard enough trying to be a better man. Holding onto loved ones lost, we try to reach the surface. Knowing what's been lost is gone as we're drowning in the abyss. I wanna get through the landslide that's outside. I'm coming out of a decade long musical hiatus. The last punk band to really move me was from the Bay (American Steel), so it's no surprise that I returned there for inspiration. Can't Swim is absolutely worth a listen for fans of Lawrence Arms or Taking Back Sunday. I'm sure there are much better comparisons - if that's you thing - but as I said, I've been out of the game for a long time. Thank you to Can't Swim for inspiring me to play again. Dave Wreckoning
The style of singing and lyrics fit this song so beautifully. It get's out all the pain of losing someone you care about while wishing them well. The whole album is solid however and I'm super happy to own this. RMP
Really great upcoming pop punk band. Wish he wouldn't strain his voice so much though, or it might be gone in a few years.
Hope to see a bright future for them! Pierce Da'esigil
